Mogadishu Heart Center provides modern, patient-centered cardiology for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Services include consultation, blood pressure and cholesterol assessment, ECG, Holter monitoring, echocardiography, stress testing where appropriate, and long-term cardiac care planning.

Care for children with heart disease

From 2024 to the present, Mogadishu Heart Center has screened 500 children. Of these, 220 children were referred abroad and received free surgery through Hope for Little Hearts Foundation.

Local catheter-based procedures

The Center screens and shortlists children for transcatheter cardiac procedures performed locally in Somalia. Free transcatheter procedures remain available through the programme. Contact the team for clinical assessment and current arrangements.

Free surgery abroad

The Center also coordinates screening, referral, and arrangements for eligible children to receive free surgery abroad through Hope for Little Hearts Foundation. This pathway remains available; the team can explain assessment, referral, and current availability.
